I like a lot of Hitchcock's stuff because it was more about the suspense than anything else.

Then, it's not really "horror", but another of my favorites is The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, starring Don Knotts. The part where he's spending the night in the haunted house is the best!

My other favorites are some of the classics from Universal - particularly Frankenstein. I've written about both Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein on my blog this month. I love the original novel, too!Kyle Vanoverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07845265439762240877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281575610100119383.post-86178764281733033802011-10-24T19:05:42.994-05:002011-10-24T19:05:42.994-05:00You know, we weren't that crazy about the para...You know, we weren't that crazy about the paranormal stuff. The scene from the TV is pretty awesome.

Not sure I can pin down three faves, but the shining would be in there. I enjoy the paranormal series and the fact that they can scare you without using unnecessary nudity and over the top gore is impressive.Charles Shttp://www.charlesrstafford.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281575610100119383.post-60286739892604412222011-10-24T11:31:04.053-05:002011-10-24T11:31:04.053-05:00Flatliners, What Lies Beneath, Fred the MovieFlatliners, What Lies Beneath, Fred the MovieMr. Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00580821551481108711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281575610100119383.post-51878131117594088672011-10-24T09:43:39.809-05:002011-10-24T09:43:39.809-05:00Yeah, who could forget the house scene in Night of...Yeah, who could forget the house scene in Night of the Living Dead. Both are fantastic pieces of cinema. I would replace The Ring with either Night of the Hunter or Night of the Living Dead. I'm a fan of older horror films; they had so much creativity than the newer ones.T.B. Playerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17181508654164742219noreply@blogger.com
